Milan, December 19, 2016 - Let's code! Programming, like reading, writing or doing maths, will be one of the core abilities of future generations. Led by Fondazione Politecnico di Milano and Politecnico di Milano, the DIS-CODE project (DISCONNECTED, discouraged, DISENABLED? LET'S CODE!) is funded by the European Community, under the Erasmus Programme + KA2 2016. It focuses on at-rick kids between 12 and 18 years of age. A dedicated training program will help them acquire new skills, such as problem solving, critical thinking, logic, apprenticeship of deductive and inductive reasoning
Six partners from five different countries (Italy, Belgium, Cyprus, Portugal and the Czech Republic) are taking part to the project: Fondazione Politecnico di Milano, Politecnico di Milano, European Digital Learning Network, EUN Partnership Aisbl, Cyprus Mathematical Society, Universidade Portucalense Infante D.Henrique-Cooperativa de Ensino Superior Crl, and Jednota skolskych Informatiku.
