READ - Resilience Capacities Assessment for Critical Infastructures Disruption
The aim of READ - Resilience Capacities Assessment for Critical Infastructures Disruption project was to increase the resilience capacities to better address the challenges raised by cross border CI disruption. The stakeholder and beneficiaries of READ activities and results are the emergency management & civil protection authorities, first responders, CI operators and the main public authorities in charge of critical infrastructure protection and/or resilience programmes.
The READ project was developed by an international consortium
bringing together players in the emergency management domain and scientists and professionals with a strong research tradition on Safety and Risk Management, Emergency Management and Critical Infrastructure Protection. The lead partner has been Fondazione Politecnico di Milano, in cooperation with Politecnico di Milano, the other partners are: Technical University of Denmark
, Risk Governance Solutions, Øresund Bridge, Capital Region of Denmark - Pre-Hospital Service, and Danish Emergency Management Agency
. The project has been
funded by European Union, Home Affairs Department, within the Prevention, Preparedness and Consequence Management of Terrorism and other Security-related Risks (CIPS) programme
. The project began in 2014 and lasted two years.
