Graziano Dragoni
General Manager of the Fondazione Politecnico di Milano





Graziano Dragoni was born on 9 May 1958 in Borgonovo V.T. (PC). In 1983 he obtained a degree in electronic engineering at the University of Pavia.

For over 20 years his interests lay in studying and developing open systems in the Information Communication Technology sector. 

From 1988 to 2003 he worked with CEFRIEL, the training and research centre of the Politecnico di Milano, which brings together the principal companies in the ICT sector. At CEFRIEL he was initially responsible for designing and running the IT system and subsequently, from 1989 onwards, he was General Manager. Mr Dragoni's duties are: organisation, planning and coordination of training activities; management of the IT system, human resources, and economic/financial aspects; activation and direction of consulting and research projects at Italian and European level.




Since 2002 he has held the role of General Manager of Poliedra, a university consortium that conducts training and applied research in transport, the countryside and the environment. His role in Poliedra reflects his responsibilities and activities while in CEFRIEL.

Since 2003 he has served as General Manager of the Fondazione Politecnico di Milano. From 2006 to 2010 he has been President of Enìa Progetti, Iren Ambiente today. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of Alintec and he is on the Presidency Committee of EMIT.

Since October 2010 he has held the role of General Manager of the Politecnico di Milano.
