The event aims at presenting the results of Energ-IT project. The main topics developed in the project are: the development of a methodology and a tool to design and manage energy-efficient data center; identify the competences, curricula and learning paths needed to manage a green data center in accordance with the European Commission, and to develop Green IT strategies for the 21st century. For almost two years partners have been involved in the creation of energy-efficient computer systems for the design of "green data center". With this meeting they intend to expose the results achieved on the methodological and technical sides, as well as the new professional skills required by the market.

Project's partners are: Fondazione Politecnico di Milano, Dipartimento di Elettronica e Informazione del Politecnico di Milano, Beta 80 Group, Enter, and Neptuny, also in cooperation with Antek, IBM, IDC, and MOX. Energ-IT is a project financed by Regione Lombardia. The event is organized by Fondazione Politecnico.
