In a changing society, keen on sustainable growth, the company's image is reshaped. Its borders are no longer those of the maximization of profit, but its profile assumes, with greater intensity, the features of social responsibility. For a young entrepreneur, starting a company today means taking the first steps towards a "sustainable development", able to share  benefits with the society. The event, promoted by the Fondazione Politecnico di Milano together with the association San Michele Valore Impresa, will present and discuss the experiences of new businesses started by young people. The meeting will discuss how these companies can be helped by business incubators and venture capital.

The event aims at presenting the results of "Historic City Conservation and Urban Regeneration Module within the Sustainable Cities Initiative in Europe and Central Asia" project, founded through the World Bank and developed by Fondazione Politecnico di Milano in cooperation with Architectural Projects Department of the Politecnico di Milano and Systematica. The main topics of the workshop will focus on the historic city conservation and urban regeneration, in order to develop a sustainable and smart city. Furthermore, it will be a way for stimulating the discussion on the themes of urban regeneration, architecture and economics, comparing different case histories.

The course, a two day workshop, will offer training on Asian patent information in China, Taiwan, Japan, Korea and India. The workshop sessions will be in English language. The course is organized by Centro di Competenza per l'Innovazione Sistematica, AIDB - Associazione Italiana Documentalisti Brevettuali and AICIPI - Associazione Italiana dei Consulenti ed Esperti in Proprietà Industriale di Enti e Imprese.

The opening ceremony of settlement and the first assembly of the Indo Italian Center of Excellence for Innovation in Construction will be an opportunity to launch the first project on the Innovative Design and Construction Industry. The initiative is in cooperation with the MIT Maeer of Pune, a prestigious Indian university. Italian and Indian companies are interested to develop this initiative.
