The "ST-ART UP: scegliere il futuro sperimentando il presente" project aims to make available locations and services for orientation, and spaces and opportunities for creative development and to encourage entrepreneurial capacity, to the youth of the Province of Milan. The twenty partners of the project have the opportunity to involve young people coming from different backgrounds: the aggregative and creative world of high-school students, the university environment, professional employment, and new forms of communication.
With funding from the Regione Lombardia (Lombardy Region) and the Provincia di Milano (Milan Province), which is heading up the project, the Fondazione Politecnico di Milano is participating in the development of a system/model for recognising social skills and knowledge. It has designed and coordinated a training path aimed at developing working roles within Web Radio, and it has also taken part in the Shell Eco-marathon scientific competition. As part of the Region-funded activities, the Province's Creative Hub has been set up, as well as the "Antenne di Cittą dei Mestieri", and many other youth-oriented projects.
