To celebrate the memory of the great scientist Ernst Felder, who as the chief researcher of the Bracco Group discovered Iopamidol, a nonionic contrast agent that revolutionised imaging diagnostics worldwide, Fondazione Bracco and Bracco Imaging decided to allocate one million Euro. The project, launched with the collaboration of the Milan Politecnico and of Fondazione Politecnico di Milano, has three main objectives:
- To let a talented researcher return to Italy through an international Call to implement a project in the sector of microfluidics in the pharmaceutical field
- To promote the establishment, in our Country, of a centre of excellence that will attract young experts in these themes
- To generate new knowledge, consolidating the relationship between companies and the world of academia
