The event

Gamification Basics: Learning Through Games and Play” is one of the many proposals presented at the Food&Science Festival 2020. The webinar was developed to give secondary school teachers ideas and games-related material which they can use with their students when discussing major environmental issues, such as innovative and sustainable farming.

In a situation where in-school education had to stop because of Covid-19, many teachers were eager to use new methods that enabled them to continue teaching. Never before had highly popular well-known video games like Assassin’s Creed and Minecraft been used to teach history and talk about science. In the wake of these examples and from the viewpoint of technology used evermore extensively in teaching, the Food&Science Festival is presenting the webinar on “Gamification Basics: Learning Through Games and Play” prepared by Matteo Uggeri, Project Manager of Fondazione Politecnico di Milano, in collaboration with Syngenta.
