Fondazione Politecnico di Milano, in collaboration with the publisher Springer, is holding the event entitled “INSIDE RESEARCH. Series “Research for Development | Call for book proposals”. Teachers, researchers and doctorate students at Politecnico di Milano are invited to attend the webinar where Springer and Fondazione Politecnico di Milano will present the new call for book proposals 2021, which is framed within the publishing initiative “Research for Development”. The series is indexed in Scopus.

Fondazione Politecnico and Springer co-created this series designed as a channel to give voice to the University’s many multidisciplinary projects. We are especially interested in projects that refer to the United Nation’s Sustainable Development Goals, to be read in the many keys underpinning PoliMi’s culture, and today even more central because of the Covid-19 pandemic. Participants will be able to ask questions and interact with the speakers during the webinar, which will also cover the purpose of the series and explain how to submit a proposal within the new call.

DETAILS OF THE CALL FOR BOOK PROPOSALS
Work submitted must be written in English and refer to topics and subject matter associated to PoliMI’s core disciplines. There will be no publishing costs for accepted work (except in the case of open access publishing, which is voluntary) and the book will be available in hard copy and as an e-book. Degree and doctoral theses are not accepted. The deadline to submit a proposal is 1st February 2021.
