Milan Fashion-Tech Bootcamp | DEFiNE

Politecnico di Milano as coordinator of the European project DeFINE – Developing a Fashion-tech Innovation Network for Europe – is organising Milan Fashion-Tech Bootcamp

23/01/2020

Politecnico di Milano, Spazio Educafé - Piazza Leonardo da Vinci 32, Milano

The event

The event is aimed at pre-startups, startups and SMEs operating within the fashion chain or working on new technologies. The purpose of the event is to help companies move forward with their entrepreneurial ideas, meet experts in fashion and technology, connect with other innovative startups and SMEs, and contribute to the development of a pan-European network for innovation in technologies within the fashion business. The selected companies will be given the opportunity of one-to-one meetings with tutors with expertise in innovation, production, investment readiness, technical support, marketing and conception.

DeFINE is a collaborative project co-funded by the European Commission’s programme COSME , designed to help the integration of avant-garde technologies that support innovation within the European scene of creative industries operating in fashion (https://define-network.eu/). The project involves academic partners (Politecnico di Milano; London College of Fashion; Istitut Français de la Mode), networks of experts/operators in the sector (Euratex, EBN and Media Deals) and business incubators/accelerators (CEEI Burgos, Borås Ink, CyRIC). The final objective of the project is to create a European network of incubators, accelerators, startups, SMEs and financial backers, as well as organising dissemination events, workshops and mentoring for startups and SMEs, and incubating innovative projects in the fashion-tech landscape.
