The final event for NESTORE took on Thursday 25 February 2021. The research project has developed a virtual avatar designed to improve life for the elderly by promoting an active lifestyle and the three components of physical, mental and social well-being that lead to a fuller life. On the basis of the knowledge acquired and values shared during NESTORE, all the project’s partners in several European countries met to examine the results obtained in ICT solutions and user co-design and experience to support active living and well-being among older people.

NESTORE – Novel Empowering Solutions and Technologies to help Older people Remain active in their everyday life – is a research and innovation action funded by the European Commission under Horizon 2020. Sixteen partners from seven countries (Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, Romania, Spain, Switzerland and UK) worked together on the project.
