How can you become more competitive if you are a small or medium-sized company located in the cross-border area straddling the province of Lecco and the Canton of Ticino? PMI Network, a project for small and medium-sized companies, is reporting on its progress and will present the results of its first two years. During the event, the Italian and Swiss lead partners, jointly with all partners and the innovation experts who put their skills at the service of the PMI Network companies will together present several possible programmes that can guide SMEs on their journey to innovation, and which also draw on the insights gleaned from innovation check-ups conducted in these trans-border areas. This part will be followed by the presentation of two stories of success: Solo Affitti Brevi and IMG Ultrasuoni are two Italian companies that, on the strength of their high level of extensive expertise and ability to address market demand, are now reference points for their sectors, to the benefit of other companies in their area.

The event is organised by Politecnico di Milano, Lecco Campus, and SUPSI, the University of Applied Sciences and Arts of Southern Switzerland, in collaboration with project partners.
