SOUL: a DSS to plan and implement Smart Multimodal Mobility Hubs
The event
Fondazione Politecnico di Milano, in cooperation with Comune di Milano and the participation of all the SOUL – Smart Mobility Hub Platform consortium, organises the event “SOUL: a DSS to plan and implement Smart Multimodal Mobility Hubs”. The webinar will present the SOUL DSS, an expert decision support system able to post‐process different types of data to ensure a robust Digital Ecosystem and provide a reliable tool, scalable to different city sizes and needs. The system is able to support stakeholders and public administration involved in urban and mobility planning processes in transforming mobility hubs from ordinary places of connectivity to the integrated suite of mobility services.
The participants will be able to understand how SOUL DSS can improve mobility service design catering to the need for social cohesion and inclusion, simplifying and fostering the independence of disadvantaged user groups. The webinar will demonstrate how the tool is able to improve understanding, development of alternatives, and evaluation of mobility alternatives that cater to the distribution of different user-profiles and potential future personas. Finally, the new opportunities for user‐centric development and citizen participation in public authority processes will be provided.
In particular, the webinar is addressed to Cities, Digital SMEs, City stakeholders, IOT companies, EIT Urban Mobility members.
The project SOUL has received funding from the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union, under the Horizon 2020, the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation.
