Startcup Lombardia is a competition organised by universities and university incubators in Lombardy, promoted by the regional government, Regione Lombardia, which supports startups founded or hosted by universities and incubators, or connected through collaborations to these institutes, including Politecnico di Milano and PoliHub.

Startcup Lombardia’s prize-giving for 2020 will be a live streamed event, where the judging panel appointed by Regione Lombardia, will announce the six winners, selected on the basis of documentation presented and an elevator pitch.

Startcup Lombardia helps to spread a culture of innovation within the university world, encouraging and supporting the creation and development of new entrepreneurship, to promote economic development in Lombardy within the following fields:

• Life Sciences
• Industrial Technologies
• Clean Tech & Energy

The total sum of prize money in 2020 is 125,000 euros.
