The event

The Coordination Committee for Volunteering (CCV), Department of Civil Protection, City of Milan, is celebrating its twentieth anniversary on Saturday 4 December 2021 at Politecnico di Milano. To mark this milestone, the Coordination Committee for Volunteering of Milan is organising a convention in celebration, which will cover topics of Civil Protection and discuss the implementation of new synergies to address future challenges. The event is organised in collaboration with Sea Milan Airports, Gruppo CAP, VBD S.p.A., 112 Emergencies and Ubbiali, under the patronage of Fondazione Politecnico di Milano, Politecnico di Milano, the Regional Council of Lombardy, the Metropolitan City of Milan and the Municipality of Milan.

There will be a full programme and three round table discussion groups with institutional and technical panellists, to engender stimulating debate between institutions, political decision makers, scientific research, companies, the general public and operators in Civil Protection volunteering. The objective of this event is to give the public more information about the areas where Civil Protection is involved, to inform their approach to the territory and behaviour, and so limit their risks.
