EEG Analysis During Robotic Rehabilitation
February 2017
- July 2019

The initiative
This project is behind a technologically advanced product for use in healthcare, to be applied specifically in the neuro-rehabilitation of patients with neurodegenerative diseases, as well as people who have suffered a stroke and, as a consequence, have mental and/or mental impairments. It is based on a modular platform consisting of various medical devices, including the following items:
a) a cap with a wireless dry electrode system, where eight of the ten electrodes acquire, record and transmit the electroencephalographic (EEG) signals,
b) an advanced robotic aid for upper-limb rehabilitation, used in combination with an interactive interface for motor and cognitive rehabilitation,
c) a heart rate measuring device,
d) a system for viewing, managing and monitoring various medical parameters closely linked to the patient’s mental and physical state.
