The agreement between Snaitech and Fondazione Politecnico di Milano starts at the San Siro Hippodrome
This three-year agreement kicks off with the famous international race track, Snai San Siro Hippodrome, in a project where Politecnico di Milano is conducting the research and Snaitech is engaged in an ambitious regeneration plan.
Fondazione Politecnico di Milano and Snaitech have signed a three-year agreement, which also involves the university’s Department of Architecture, Built Environment and Construction Engineering and Department of Design. They have initiated a research project to study how this historical venue can be improved, transformed and enjoyed and how its magnificent grounds can be the setting for new and inclusive events and uses.
Fondazione Politecnico di Milano also welcomes Snaitech, which has become our Institutional Member.
Andrea Sianesi President Fondazione Politecnico di Milano: “We are very proud of this agreement and its focus on transforming a place that is dear to so many people in Milan. We will be concentrating on urban planning, but will go beyond and introduce a new form of citizen participation through a process of inclusion and involvement. Human capital is playing an evermore important role in urban development, and the union of many actors, universities and companies, together can help to transform cities under the banner of sustainability”.
Fabio Schiavolin CEO Snaitech: “Speaking on behalf of the Group, I am proud of this beneficial collaboration which is launching with a grand plan for the grounds at the San Siro race track, and in the upcoming years will expand into other research arenas. We are on the path of innovation and sustainability, combining solutions, services and technology to create digital processes and spaces”.
