The Inte.S.E. was created with the aim of offering the tools for the effective integration of foreign students, in particular those from outside the EU, in the Italian context. Inte.S.E. is an inter-university portal, open to all students and universities who wish to join it. The student, by registering on the platform, can thus take advantage of a series of services to support his insertion in the Italian cultural and civil context. The web portal is in fact a space for socialization, information and training, in which to activate and test new channels and methods of communication between the subjects involved in the integration path of a foreign student. It is an informal environment where university and student can get to know each other and a place where resources and advice can be shared, using the channels that are part of students’ daily life (social networks and the most modern technologies).
The project is an initiative of the Ministry of the Interior – Department for Civil Liberties and Immigration and co-financed by the European Fund for the Integration of Third Country Citizens of the European Union. Project partners are the Politecnico di Milano – Centro METID and the Fondazione Politecnico, in collaboration with MIP, the Business School of the Politecnico di Milano
